'Now I have 3 extra kittens': Person adopts a cat who keeps getting bigger and bigger, and before they know it, they get a tiny surprise of an adorable litter of kittens

Adopting a cat is always an experience full of surprises. Seriously. We know that most people simply adopt and then go on with their lives, but not all. Sometimes, the kitten you adopted will turn out to be some special breed with special needs. Sometimes, the cat you adopted will bring you a friend - another cat, someone that they know and love and are going to make sure that you adopt as well, whether you plan on it or not. And sometimes, the cat you adopted will come with a few surprises… inside of it. Also known as kittens. 

This is not the first time that a pregnant cat momma walked into someone's home and decided to stay. They know when they need help, and… well, they don't really bother to mention the pregnancy. And so, they keep taking us, human, off guard when they grow and grow and… keep growing. By the time we realize, it's usually too late, and before we know it, we have three extra kittens to take care of.

  • This might have been the best surprise in the world. Think you're adopting one cat? Nope. You got four. And sure, it means four times the shenanigans and the trouble, but it also means four times the love and the snuggles. And that is amazing.

    So I know someone whose neighbor was being evicted and she wanted to take her cat to a local shelter, my friend already has dogs and cats and couldn't help... I felt terrible and I already had one Tuxie so I decided to take her in until I could find a better home or possibly keep her depending on how it went with my current cat.

    It took a couple of weeks of separation and slow introductions but in the end they got along and lived each other. Little girl was looking so good, gaining weight, shinier coat, and gained more weight...

    I grew suspicious, she grew larger... and then! I saw pink little a rounder belly, before I knew it I felt tinny little babies in her belly and now here they are, Twinsies (kinda) boy and girl, and black baby boy.

  • We are not sure if you are planning to keep all of these guys, but whether you do or don't, we hope that they all get the amazing furrever homes that they deserve. And the momma… the momma better be staying with you. Clearly, she is very happy and comfortable exactly where she is right meow.

    untameimpalar OP My other one is also a girl lol so I doubt it... we don't know if she came already withkitten, or If she got pregnant the one time she got out while I was coming in with laundry and she slipped through my legs, was out for like 24 hrs in the first weeks we had her

    untameimpalar OP At first and throughout the pregnancy she was super cool, grooming each other playing etc, now that the babies are here I keep them in separate areas because little mama is super protective and hormonal and we want yo avoid conflict
